ABOUT THE AUTHOR

V grew up in the foothills of the Shenandoah, described by her family as a creative and loving, yet melancholy, child. In 2002 she graduated from college with a Bachelor of the Arts in Fashion Merchandising. After school, V then began her career dabbling in various different artistic endeavors, from fashion design, to writing and event planning. Never willing to settle down, V moved from place to place in efforts to make a sound decision on what she wanted to do, and where she really wanted to be. In 2007 on a diversion back home, V acquired a job as an Executive Assistant to pass the time while studying for her MBA.

Once completed in 2008, she stayed on as an Office Manager but was laid off 5 months later at the start of the economic recession. V, taking her job loss stride, viewed it as the opportunity of a life time! With the time she had, she was able to compile all of her personal journal entries on relationships and love to complete her first book Notes, Thoughts and Love Letters: the journal of V.
